From the very beginning golf was one of the cornerstones of the MW experience. Going to the mountain course, filling our bags with cans of bud, driving our carts irresponsibly, and trying to put the stupid little ball into the stupid little hole. And despite my own personal issues with golf, (it’s me Golf, not you), it has been an important bonding experience and simply a good time. It is impossible to forget trying to drive off the first tee wearing monkey tits, believe me. But as MW has evolved, and stripped to its core, golf has be relegated to hitting old driving range balls into the pond. Skeet shooting has not so quietly replaced golf. Big Pete thought Frisbee golf would be fun. And I thought it’d be fun to shoot my Airsoft at him as he played Frisbee golf. We could make a small course, that’s a possibility. But the questions remains, where is golf in the MW experience? It’s on the crest. Should it be?

I have to say, I miss the golf, but I'm torn between the links and the need to just sit on a hillside in the Catskills on the first weekend in May -- Drink in hand.
