Bowie Silver R.I.P.

It’s always hard to say goodbye, but it’s harder when it’s one of our own. With a heavy heart, I am sad to report that Bowie, David’s Dalmatian, has passed onto that great pasture in the sky; with a tree and fire hydrant every few feet and squirrels every two. Bowie struggled for a while with his hind legs, and as he got older he just couldn’t get around any more. I’ll remember Bowie was always very happy to greet me. Wagging his tail, bouncing and making some of those happy and strange Dalmatian noises. He had a tough role to fill as the second Dalmatian in the house after Tucker died, but he took over admirably with his curious desire for chewing rocks and the amazing ability of taking a crap every time the dog went for a walk – no matter how many times a day he went outside. Even though he had no testicles, it didn’t make him any less man. I’ll miss you old boy.
