ReplyDeletei can only imagine the interior accomodations are not man enough? i always felt the interior of the farmhouse filled with ten sweating, hung-over, gaseous men was similar to being on Devil's Island with Steve McQueen in Papillion. esp. the isolation scenes.

i can live with the outdoors scenario. A few words of experience - the ground in May can be very wet and there is little level ground.
we may need a work detail to grade and terrace the hillside. there is a dual benefit to this - level sleeping areas AND flashbacks of mucking through those damn rice paddies from those days in the NAM. glad i have my gun!
