There has been some discussion about where a proper camp site might be that best embody the MW ethos. Flat is generally good, so the area next to the barn seemed to be perfect choice. It's accessable by car, manly 4x4 car, and close enough to the pond and other running water, and easy enough to build a fire pit. Other ideas are welcome of course. Questions? Comments?

A concern with the barn location, as discussed with the Bob Vila of outdoorsmen Kurt Leasure, is the proximity of the fire to the barn. barn fires are pretty cool but there is a strong likelihood the barn fire could turn into a forest fire. that might be pretty cool too!
